The Niger subsidiary of the Bank of Africa group had a generous staff remuneration policy in 2020. It paid its staff 5.97 billion FCFA ($10.7

million).

In Niger, BOA is effectively dealing with these internal challenges, in particular created by the global health crisis. For fiscal year 2020, the subsidiary in Niger of the pan-African banking group Bank of Africa paid its employees 5.97 billion FCFA ($10.7 million).
This remuneration, up 20% compared to 2019, comes at a time when the number of employees declared by the company fell for the second year in a row, rising to 292 people, compared to 306 at the end of 2018.
Things have not changed in favor of its leaders. Their remuneration was 370.8 million FCFA over the period analyzed. It also includes salary and various benefits, and is down by 8.2% compared to its 2019 level.
However, these personnel expenses increased due to the increase in “employee benefits”, which rose from 711.4 million in 2019 to 1.36 billion CFA francs at the end of

fiscal 2020.
