But for the start-up of the factory and the takeover of the Ity mine, 5% of the employees are expatriates. "The mine, in addition to the jobs created, should generate, for the State of Côte d'Ivoire, more than 150 billion FCfa in terms of taxes and duties and 9 billion under the community development funds of Ity and Daapleu. “, announced the CEO under the ovations. Before adding that the cost of building this cube leaching plant and associated infrastructure reached 300 billion FCfa. Sébastien De Montessus revealed that the realization of this project was not done without difficulties linked to the fall in the price of gold, in 2014 and 2015. Addressing the local communities, he wished for frank communication, in order that the Ity complex, with its new factory, makes a lasting contribution to everyone's well-being. To conclude, he explained that the cube leaching plant makes it possible to recover gold more efficiently, with a view to giving a second life to the Ity mining complex. Recall that the Endaevoure Maning group also created Ecodev, an Ivorian company that invests in African SMEs and aims to bring out national champions. Ecodev has studied, in recent months, investment opportunities in the agro-industrial sectors around Ity.
