The Center for Political Action (Cerap) is sounding the alarm about the false diplomas that abound in the Ivorian education system. Cerap says it is counting on the support of all education stakeholders to overcome the phenomenon.

Some holders of these false parchments perform functions in public and private administrations. This endemic scourge challenged Enock Kakou, doctoral student in sociology, economics and development, and also vice-president of the Center for Political Action Reflection (Cerap) who held a conference on Saturday March 5, 2022, on the subject. The theme of the conference was: “The problem of false diplomas in the education system in Côte d'Ivoire: what consequences? ".

The speaker established the diagnosis of the Ivorian education system which, according to him, has gone through many stages in its evolution. Enock Kakou argues that the State of Côte d'Ivoire devotes nearly 40% of its budget to education each year. But, he laments, despite this stated will of the State, the education system is confronted with several phenomena, including that of false diplomas.
