The largest ship of the 2021-2022 cocoa campaign has been calling at the Autonomous Port of San Pedro since Monday, for the shipment of well-dried beans. With an estimated capacity of more than 20,000 tons, the ship will take more than 15,000 tons for five days, with an average boarding rate of 3,000 tons in 24 hours.

The ship will leave Côte d'Ivoire with more than 20,000 tons for the destination of the United States of America. The goal is to consolidate the fluidity of the export and to satisfy the customers impatient to have their cargoes in the United States of America. The transport of cocoa on board this boat is done by pre-sling, a conventional form of boarding consisting of grouping 25 bags of cocoa beans by a sling.
