The subsidiary of the Nigerian banking group UBA takes the lion's share in terms of export domiciliation, with 56.3% of the market share. According to the National Cocoa and Coffee Board (ONCC), Cameroonian cocoa export operations during the 2020-2021 campaign, which ended in July 2021, were domiciled in 12 local banks.

According to the ONCC, during the 2019-2020 cocoa campaign, 52.9% of Cameroonian cocoa exports were domiciled at UBA Cameroon. This reveals a portfolio increase of 3.4% between two campaigns. With this performance, UBA Cameroon confirms its leadership in the partnership between banks and cocoa exporters in the country. Better still, the Nigerian bank is strengthening its position, thanks to an increase in its transactions with exporters. UBA Cameroon is followed by Ecobank, a pan-African banking group through which 12.3% of Cameroonian bean exports were ensured during the last campaign, against 18.4% during the 2019-2020 campaign. The trio of the best exporter partners is closed by the local subsidiary of the Gabonese banking group BGFI, to which the ONCC attributes the domiciliation of 9.1% (against 8.1% in 2019-2020) of Cameroonian cocoa exports in 2020- 2021.
