Côte d'Ivoire will soon have 10 parks of 6 grain storage silos. The Regulatory Authority for the Warehousing Receipts System (Arre) and Tbea, a Chinese company, signed an agreement during a ceremony held on Tuesday, August 17, in Abidjan.

Distributed in production areas throughout the national territory and each containing 5,000 tonnes, these silos will have a nominal capacity of 30,000 tonnes. This desire was materialized by the signing of an agreement between the Regulatory Authority for the Warehousing Receipts System (Arre) and Tbea, a Chinese company, supplier of systematic integrated solutions for industry and global infrastructures. . This project, with a total cost of 130 billion FCfa, meets international standards for the intelligent storage of agricultural products and is part of the Warehousing Receipts System (Sre), an innovative mechanism set up by the government to respond to the problem of local processing of agricultural products. It will promote the development of the agricultural economy and ensure food security, boost the marketing of cereals in the major agricultural production areas and increase the added value of agricultural products.
