A delegation from the Ministry of State, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development carried out a mission from July 12 to 17, 2021 on the sites, in the regions of Bafing and Kabadougou in order to assess the progress of the Soy project. This mission was led by the Director of Project Evaluation, Mr. Silué Sionseligam, who said he was "satisfied" with the progress of the work in progress on the various sites. "We have come to monitor and evaluate the start-up activities for the 2021 campaign. Namely plowing, spraying, harrowing, and sowing," said Silué Sioseligam. The delegation noted that it is " a real hope that is born in (them) with the resumption of the soybean project". This project should allow a massive production of soybeans within the framework of food security and create jobs. It also provides for the rehabilitation of all the seed farms, tracks leading to the plots, the construction of seed conservation and quality control infrastructure (analytical laboratory), the identification of new land for the extension of the project.
