Most of the Togolese population is distant and does not look favorably on insurance services for various reasons. But the leaders of CIF Assurances-Vie Togo emphasize that the innovation provided by their insurance service lies in its products, which are accessible to all social strata of the country, and at a lower cost.
The challenge, according to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fucec-Togo, Essossimanadada DADANEMA, is to serve the maximum number of people in the insurance services. The specificity today, he continued, is that they want to move towards microinsurance and that it also affects the informal sector.
“We want everyone in the Life branch to be able to get insurance with CIF-Vie because we have the potential to offer products
its which will be affordable to all those who are members of our networks and outside the Fucec network as well”, declared Kokoumeh FEDY, Managing Director of CIF Assurances-Vie.
And to add: “We have the ambition to force fate and we will ensure that we comply with the regulations,” he underlined.
As for the products offered by CIF-Vie, we find the Credit Provident Scheme (RPC), the End-of-Career Indemnity (IFC), the Retirement Savings Plan (PER), the Mixed Education Annuity Insurance. Three other products, in particular Family Protection Insurance, Mixed Driver Insurance and Account Holder Insurance (ATC) are under study and will soon be put on the market.
It should be noted that CIF-Vie Togo, an initiative of savings and credit cooperatives Fucec-Togo was set up on February 2, 2016. To date, it has a capital of 5 billion FCFA, of which 4 billion is entirely released.
Other information, 95% of the shareholders of this company are the institutions of the Fucec-Togo network, then the cooperatives have an inalienable capital, indicates Kokoumeh FEDY.
