Kligayo, the company producing the "Sentinel" drink, recently announced in Abidjan the construction of a factory with an area of 7 hectares, in the commune of Yopougon, south of the Ivorian economic capital.
Three years after it was put on the market, this drink with therapeutic virtues wants to be exported around the world. This factory, to international standards, with laboratories, should enable it to increase its production capacity to one million bottles per hour.
“We want that in 10 years, every second, at least one million people on the planet will be consuming Sentinel. This is our vision,” says Coulibaly Kligayo, Managing Director of Kligayo.
“Today, we have sales representatives in the sub-region, and a franchise in the process of being set up in Algeria. But eventually, the company will have representation in each of these countries,” he adds.
According to forecasts, the construction of this factory should create one hundred thousand jobs in Côte d'Ivoire and bring the company to around one million employees throughout Africa.
The first works, on an area of 1.5 hectares, cost 3 billion FCFA. 2.5 billion have already been mobilized by SYNAPSY International, an Italian company specializing in the financing of state and private projects and in trading.
