In response to issues submitted by the various stakeholders of the system, idea holders and young startupers were invited to propose innovative solutions. And this, through the regional innovation program Smart Bank By Bank of Africa in partnership with Universities and CRIs.

A program based on regional and national challenges, Smart Bank brings together all those with ideas and rewards the best project ideas. It is supported by the Bank, its university partners and the Regional Investment Centers and supervised by mentors and business experts. And should make it possible to stimulate the entrepreneurial, creative and innovative spirit within higher education institutions.

Launched in March 2019 in collaboration with the Cadi Ayyad University of Marrakech, the program brought together in its 1st edition, 25 project leaders including 5 finalists who were able to benefit from support as part of an internal Incubation program from Bank of Africa. A total of 12,000 young people have been made aware of entrepreneurship and 300 people with ideas supported through more than 100 hours of training.
