The 2nd edition of the "Tremplin Startup UEMOA" competition was initiated by the Commission of the Economic and Monetary Union of West Africa (UEMOA), in collaboration with the Regional Consular Chamber of UEMOA (CCR-UEMOA ) and the National Consular Chambers (CCn) of the Member States of the Union. At the end of the process, the Ivorian start-up INVESTIV won the 5th prize.

The start-up INVESTIV, a company specializing in consulting on precision agriculture, won the 5th prize (bronze). The five best startups in the sub-region received the sum of five million CFA francs each, and their management structures received one million CFA francs.

This competition launched for the 2nd edition in September 2021 under the theme "the digital economy at the service of the agro-industry", aims to identify, reward and support the best startups which will stand out for the relevance of their activity and their impact on the green economy, as well as stimulating support structures for entrepreneurship.

The WAEMU Commission mobilized 214 million CFA Francs for all member countries, including 30 million CFA Francs awarded to Ivorian winners. More than 300 applications from start-ups, 34% of which were women, were registered throughout WAEMU, supported by 94 structures.
