In November, Abidjan becomes the African and world capital of Agriculture.

After Durban in South Africa, the 4th edition of the African Week of Agricultural Valorization, SAVA, is held on the shores of the Ebrié lagoon, from November 25 to 29, on the sidelines of the International Exhibition of Agriculture and Animal Resources , SARA.

The announcement was made on Tuesday by Konan Bogui Nathalie, President of the Forum de Conseil Agricole et Rural de Côte d'Ivoire, FOCAR-CI, in the presence of the Director General of ANADER, Dr Sidiki Cissé and the representative of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Coulibaly Minahaya.

The African Agricultural Development Week is an initiative of AFASAS, the African Forum for Agricultural Advisory Services. For this year, it puts on the discussion table, the issue of synergy between the private sector and agricultural advice for the sustainable development of agriculture in Africa.

Several activities, such as visits to plant and animal production and processing areas to share Ivorian expertise in terms of fruitful collaboration between the private sector and agricultural advice, will be organized.

400 experts and stakeholders in agricultural and rural advice, from around twenty countries in Africa and the rest of the world are expected in Abidjan for the African Agricultural Development Week. The very first in a French-speaking country.
