At the end of the 2021 financial year, the SONATEL group displays a robust financial situation. Its turnover amounts to 1,335 billion FCFA.

Leader in its five countries of presence (Senegal, Mali, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Sierra Leone), the group continues to consolidate its achievements by adopting a strategy aimed at dealing with the competitive aggressiveness in place for several years, especially in with regard to its growth drivers. Indeed, the company's turnover increased by 10.68% to 1,335 billion FCFA (2.04 billion Euros), against 1,206 billion FCFA at the end of the previous year.

SONATEL reported an operating result up 17.84% to 400 billion FCFA, representing stronger growth compared to that of turnover. Thus, thanks to the good control of operating expenses (mainly direct expenses), the operating margin improved by 182 basis points to 29.93% against 28.12% and 27.20% in 2020 and 2019 respectively. Management is offering its shareholders a generous remuneration of 155.56 billion FCFA (237.82 million FCFA), corresponding to a net dividend per share of 1,400 FCFA.
