The Director of Communication and External Relations, Fousseny Touré presented the actions taken by his ministry to oversee activities to fight against corruption. Thus, he announced that 70 civil servants and state agents were before the courts.

Fousseny Touré was received on “All about knowing”, weekly press conference of the Government Information and Communication Center (CICG). During this forum, he indicated that in order to supervise activities to fight against corruption, the government intends to obtain a score of 50/100 by 2025, according to the Corruption Perception Index (CPI ) of the NGO Transparency International. To do this, he said, it is planned to strengthen and harmonize the institutional, legal and operational framework for the fight against corruption and related offenses by adopting the necessary texts, strengthening monitoring mechanisms , prevention and repression of cases of corruption and similar offences.
