The West African Development Bank (BOAD) has just joined the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IITA). A community of one hundred and two (102) members, from United Nations agencies, international development organizations and civil society, who are committed to promoting greater transparency.

BOAD has just marked an essential point regarding the strengthening of its commitment to transparency in the dissemination of information on its operations, in accordance with international standards. The Bank is now a member of IITA, a community whose goal is to promote greater transparency in the use of development and humanitarian resources to address poverty and crisis. In a press release published for this purpose, BOAD indicates that this membership follows the development of the Policy of Dissemination and Access to information entered into force at BOAD by regulation 2013-013 dated December 05, 2013 .
