For the 2022 financial year, the government has endowed the Support Fund for Local Authorities (FACT) with a budget of 4 billion FCFA against 6.25 billion FCFA in 2021, a decrease of 36%.

In the 2022 finance law, the budget allocated to the Support Fund for Local Authorities (FACT) has been reduced. The Local Authorities Support Fund is a national mechanism for financing local authorities. It is intended for the transfer of financial resources for the benefit of local authorities and aims to mobilize resources intended for the development of local authorities.
