After several years of hard work, the hour of recognition has come for 263 agents of the National Social Insurance Fund, CNPS. These men and women totaling 15, 25, 30 and 35 years and more, of services were celebrated this Wednesday at the Palace of Culture in Abidjan. They received silver, vermeil, gold, and grand gold medals of honor and diplomas, respectively.
"We are aware that we have the chance of a safe and solid job, but above all a job that puts us at the service of our working fellow citizens. This feeling of being useful to others is in itself already a great reward. And that motivates us to continue working", supports Fofana Meby, on behalf of his fellow recipients.
For the first manager of this social security organization, this decoration is the expression of the gratitude and recognition of an entire institution. "The medal you are wearing today is a symbol that materializes your participation in building the leadership of an ever stronger CNPS in its mission to develop social security in Côte d'Ivoire", says Dénis Charles Kouassi, Managing Director of the CNPS.
The first witness to this event, Pascal Kouakou Abinan, Minister of Employment and Social Protection expressed his congratulations and those of the entire government to the recipients. Because for him, "this distinction is the testimony of the satisfaction of the CNPS for the quality of your service, for your know-how, for your abnegation and especially for your loyalty". Before adding that it is also "the recognition of your merit by the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire for all these great years of activity for your contribution to the progress effort of our beautiful country".
This award ceremony for the Labor Medal of Honor is a tradition at the CNPS. Every two years, the Caisse Nationale de Prévoyance Sociale thus celebrates the excellence and recognition of the continuous efforts of its agents to ensure social security and contribute to the well-being of workers in the private and self-employed sectors.
