The Banque Atlantique du Cameroun owned by the Ivorian businessman, Dossongui Koné, can now carry out its activities calmly. The Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC) ruled in its favor on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, in N'Djamena, Chad.

The decisions of the Central African Banking Commission (Cobac) and the Banking Commission of the West African Monetary Union, prohibiting the administrators and managers of this banking establishment from exercising their functions have just been annulled by the Court Justice of the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC). The Cemac court ordered the stay of execution of the Cobac decision and of D-2021/212 of August 27, 2021, on the resignation of office of the board of directors, Léon Konan Koffi and all the members of the Board of Directors of the Atlantic Bank of Cameroon (Bacm). This court decision therefore clears the Ivorian businessman.
