In a decree signed on November 11, Sani Yaya indicated that the new majority shareholder has undertaken to make available to the group an amount of 10 billion FCFA in the form of a blocked shareholder current account. In addition, the new owners of the bank will have to strengthen its equity, in order to bring it into compliance with prudential standards by the end of June 2022. Concluded on December 20, 2021 by the Minister of Finance, Sani Yaya, and the teams of the new shareholder, this deal, according to the Togolese financier, comes after a "long" process "with regard to the objectives assigned to this privatization".
