MTN will leverage Google and Dotgo platforms, as well as Dotgo-managed services to serve more than 82 million subscribers. The operator announces the launch of RCS enterprise messaging services. The RBM solution uses the rich and interactive features of Rich Communication Services (RCS) – the next generation of SMS that enables the sharing of audios, videos, images, locations and more – to enable branded enterprise messaging . RCS messages are transmitted securely to native messaging apps such as Google Messages and Samsung Messages on Android phones. Available on 3G and 4G networks, RCS is the default messaging standard for 5G networks. To date, RCS is available worldwide with over 700 million monthly active users.
