After being removed from the gray list of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) on October 21, Mauritius is preparing to leave the blacklist of the European Union. This should take place by early February 2022. Mahen Seeruttun, Minister of Financial Services explains that the new European Union blacklist (without Mauritius) was amended by the European Commission yesterday (Wednesday 22 December) and will however be adopted by the Council and the European Parliament within one month.
