The Sonatel group will proceed on January 16, 2022 to the payment of the half-yearly interest of its bond loan called Sonatel 6.50% 2020-2027 for an amount of 3.250 billion FCFA.

To finance the 2020 investment plan linked to its operations in Senegal, its main market, Sonatel has mobilized resources on the regional financial market through a bond loan for an amount of 100 billion FCFA. The distribution of 10 million Sonatel 6.50% 2020-2027 securities to the public at a price of 10,000 FCFA per bond had been scheduled for the period from July 7 to 15, 2020. But the success of the operation was such that it was closed early on July 8, 2020 with an oversubscription of 122%. Investors were mainly attracted by the quality of the issuer, which was rated AA- in October 2019 with a stable outlook by the WARA agency. Sonatel will reimburse 3.250 billion FCFA on January 16, 2022.
