The economic capital of Cameroon, Douala, hosted the meeting of the Community Body for Consultation and Negotiation (OCCN) of the Agency for Air Navigation Safety in Africa and Madagascar (ASECNA). This meeting was chaired by the Cameroonian Minister of Transport, Jean Ernest Masséna NGALLÈ BIBÉHÈ.

Until December 27, the hundred or so participants from 17 member countries of the Agency will negotiate and sign the 2022/2024 company contract between ASECNA and its staff. The meeting comes a month after the one held in Ndjamena (September 27 to October 02, 2021) and during which the terms of reference of the said contract were adopted with the active participation of all, in accordance with the Agency's triptych philosophy: negotiation, consultation, and internal conflict resolution.
