The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Benin has recorded the sale of the National Company for the Marketing of Petroleum Products (SONACOP). The signing took place on November 12, 2021 in the presence of Abdoulaye BIO TCHANE, Minister of State in charge of Development and Coordination of Government Action, Romuald WADAGNI, Minister of State in charge of Economy and Finance, and Shadiya Alimatou ASSOUMAN, Minister of Industry and Trade.

The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Benin has decided to sell SONACOP's entire petroleum product distribution network, made up of 128 service stations spread throughout Benin.
