Cifa Bourse, a company specialized in advising on financial operations on the capital markets, now operates in the WAEMU zone from Mali. Approved last September, the new SGI has decided to focus on the development and popularization of capital markets in the West African zone, according to its leaders.

“The capital market is a powerful lever for the emergence of Africa since it offers additional financing instruments for the companies and economies of our States. This will make it possible to better position the capital markets as real levers of growth", declared the Malian financier Lamine Bane, managing director of Cifa Bourse, who spoke during a panel moderated by international experts from several African stock exchanges and in Abidjan, last November, on the capital market in Africa. Approved in early September by the Regional Council for Public Savings and Financial Markets (CREPMF) of the West African Monetary Union (WAMU), Cifa Bourse was created in November 2020 and registered with the RCCM in Bamako. On the local market, it joins a segment previously led by SGI Mali and SGI Global Capital.
