The National Hydrocarbons Company (SNH) paid 595 million dollars to the Cameroonian State at the end of the first three quarters of the year 2021.

The funds from the sale of oil and gas as of October 31, 2021 amount to 345 billion FCFA, or 595 million dollars transferred to the state coffers by SNH. In general, the figures published during the second annual session of the Board of Directors observe an upward trend compared to last year despite the difficult economic situation reinforced by the Covid-19 pandemic. National hydrocarbon production amounted to 32.423 million barrels of oil equivalent (boe) against 32.80 million boe a year earlier. SNH sold 12.515 million barrels of crude oil while 14 shipments of liquefied natural gas (LNG) were exported.
