The Democratic Republic of Congo has just registered six new insurance operators. They have been authorized by the Board of Directors of the Insurance Regulatory and Supervisory Authority (ARCA) to operate in the country.

Four insurance brokerage companies, a health insurance manager and a bank for the distribution of insurance products have received authorization from ARCA to operate in DR Congo. The body met for its 13th ordinary session on December 2, 2021 in Kinshasa, after an analysis of the files in accordance with the Insurance Code and the regulations in force in the country. The companies concerned are the brokers H&B Assurances Rdc Sarl, Royale d'assurances Sarl, Orbis Sau and Exa Sas. The health insurance manager is Groupement de gestion d'assurance RDC SA, and Rawbank SA is authorized to distribute insurance products on behalf of Rawsur SA and Rawsur Life SA, via its banking network.
