Compared to September, the prices of building materials in Senegal increased by 0.1% in October 2021. According to ANSD data, "this development is mainly the result of that of the prices of materials for cladding walls and floors, waterproofing materials, as well as carpentry”. The prices of materials for covering walls and floors were thus increased by 2.4%, on a monthly basis, due to the increase in those of tiles for floors (+2.5%) and for walls (+2 .0%).
