At the end of the Togo-Benin stage of the "EDF Africa Pulse Tour" hosted by the Energy Generation support structure on November 22 in Lomé, Atingan Solutions and Sungaz were selected from eight competing projects. The startups will represent Benin and Togo respectively at the grand final of the 2021 edition of the EDF Pulse Africa competition.

Atingan Solutions and Sungaz were selected by a jury made up of EDF executives, energy entrepreneurship experts, journalists and former winners of the competition. The two projects were able to seduce and convince the jurors thanks to the particularity of responding to the same problem with almost similar solutions. Atingan Solutions offers eponymous homes equipped with solar panels and accumulators.

The innovation brought by Sungaz is photovoltaic induction cooking. This fireplace provides access to electrical energy. The two projects that combine solar energy and cooking will represent Togo and Benin in Paris.
