The investigation speaks of a vast network involving cybercriminals and agents working within the Banque Postale du Congo (BPC); the banking institution majority owned by the state. According to media reports, the 15 individuals are charged with embezzlement, criminal conspiracy and theft. BPC officials say they are waiting for ongoing judicial investigations before making a statement on the scandal.
