Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) includes all West African countries as members. It welcomes the Republic of Niger as the 33rd Member State.

The entry of the Republic of Niger into the AFC brings the membership of African countries to 60%. This new membership will significantly contribute to strengthening AFC's activities in the region and to developing the intra-African trade and logistics system. Niger is one of the most vulnerable countries to climate change in the world due to its exposure to climate risks and its landlocked position. This partnership will help Niger build long-term resilience for its industrial and pastoral systems. AFC has invested more than $8.7 billion in 35 African countries, using its unique access to global capital markets to spur development, integrate the continent's economies and transform lives.
