The Department of Forecasting and Economic Studies (Dpee) has published data on exports from Senegal. The document indicates that Senegal's exports to WAEMU are estimated at 32.2 billion in August 2021 against 33.2 billion the previous month, a decrease of 1.0 billion.

Exports to Mali represented 16.3% of the total value of Senegal's merchandise exports during the month of August 2021. The share of products sent to Mali, the main destination of Senegal's exports to the Union, is increased from 52.3% to 60.6% over the period, representing a share gain of 8.3 percentage points. Cement remains the main product exported to Mali, with a share estimated at 25.8% in August 2021 against 24.3% the previous month.
