After Dakar and Cotonou, Bamako hosted the third annual meeting of the Regional Council for Public Savings and Markets (CREPMF) with the accounting profession. This meeting was an opportunity for participants to reflect on several aspects of the accounting profession within the community space.

Chaired by the Malian Minister of Mines, Energy and Water, this third meeting between the accounting profession and financial market players present in Mali was a place for sharing and reflection on reforms and innovations in current and projected on the regional financial market. The objective of the meeting was to collect the observations and recommendations of the accounting profession so that the new priorities of the regional financial market, for the period 2020-2024, can be carried out. These new priorities are based on the strengthening of four major strategic axes of the regional financial market. They are: “governance and capacities of participants in the regional financial market, protection of investors in the regional financial market, attractiveness and diversification of the regional financial market, communication and visibility of the regional financial market”.
