The brewer SABC inaugurates its maize mill of 18 billion FCFA this November 5, 2021 in Mbankomo. The leader in the brewing market aims to produce 30,000 tonnes of maize gritz each year.

The Prime Minister, Joseph Dion Nguté, will proceed in the locality of Mbankomo, about twenty kilometers from Yaoundé, the capital of the country, to the inauguration of the factory of the Compagnie fermière du Cameroun (CFC), the brand new subsidiary of the SABC brewing group. With this investment, the beer market leader aims to produce 30,000 tonnes of corn gritz each year, by processing 60,000 tonnes of raw corn purchased from local producers. Also, the CFC corn mill will enable the SABC to meet all of its corn gritz needs locally (10,000 tons are purchased annually from Maïscam), for the production of beer.
