Premium class passengers on Camrail's express train will now pay less for their tickets. This decision took effect from Monday, November 1, 2021.

According to the railway company, Camrail the travel ticket for this class will now cost 6,000 FCFA instead of 8,000 (-25%) one way, while the return trip now costs 11,000 FCFA compared to 14,000 FCFA per the past (-21.4%). As a promotional campaign, the train operator returns to the original prices of this express train. Indeed, the revaluation of these prices, at the time of the resumption of activities on July 1, 2021, had surprised more than one observer, and earned Camrail recriminations from Internet users. As a reminder, according to the railway concession agreement in Cameroon, freight management and all related investments are the responsibility of the French logistics company Bolloré .
