The support program for municipalities and agglomerations in Senegal (PACASEN) carried out four infrastructures in the municipality of Bambey in 2021 at a cost of 76 million CFA francs. Pacasen is financed to the tune of 260 million US dollars (approximately 130 billion FCFA) from the equity of the State of Senegal and credits obtained from the World Bank (BM) and the French Development Agency ( AFD).

According to El Hadji Alassane Diallo, head of the communication unit of the Municipal Development Agency (ADM), in Bambey, the funds allocated by Pacasen in 2021 in the amount of 76 million FCFA have made it possible to create a youth space , a health post and the renovation of Independence Square and the town hall. He made this statement while leading a Pacasen follow-up mission to see the progress of the infrastructure works included in the pilot phase of this project. He specifies that these infrastructures were chosen in consultation with the populations, the delegates of the districts under the supervision of the regional development agency (ARD).
