As part of its Winter 2021 cohort, Sendbox successfully raised $1.8 million from a seed funding round led by 4Dx Ventures, Enza Capital, FJLabs, and Golden Palm Investments. This transaction brings its total investment to $2 million.

The Nigeria-based e-commerce platform wants to expand its logistics operations in West Africa. Thus, the 1.8 million dollars raised should be used to further digitize deliveries for African SMEs and to strengthen the development of its product range and hire new talent. Launched in 2018, Sendbox is a startup solution provider that brings logistics providers together and helps SMBs reduce the burden of engaging different logistics companies to deliver goods and services to various locations. The company aims to expand into finance and payments, followed by e-commerce and marketplace integrations.
