The President of the West African Development Bank (BOAD), Serge EKUE and the President of Plateform Industrial Adétikopé (PIA) SAS, Jesse Ian DAMSKY signed a loan contract for a total amount of 20 billion FCFA. This agreement relates to the project for the creation and operation of an Integrated Industrial Platform with an area of 132 ha in Adétikopè, in the Togolese Republic.

BOAD contributes to the financing of the Project for the creation and operation of an industrial and logistics park by the company Plateform Industrial Adetikopé (PIA) SAS in Togo. According to the banking institution, this project is part of the new government roadmap 2021-2025, which outlines the "Togo 2025" Strategic Plan aimed at "making Togo a country at peace, a modern nation with economic growth inclusive and sustainable”. It materializes the Framework Agreement signed between PIA SAS, the Togolese State and ARISE SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE (ARISE SEZ) aimed at the creation of an Integrated Industrial Platform with the aim of attracting investors with a view to developing industrial and multi-sectoral, namely the processing of local agricultural and mining products. Also, the Project for the creation and operation of an industrial and logistics park is part of the DJOLIBA 2021-2025 Plan, BOAD's strategic plan, in its axes 1 and 2 aimed respectively at strengthening regional integration and the creation of value and productive jobs in support of States and the private sector. This operation brings to 266,256 MF CFA, the total amount of BOAD commitments in favor of the private sector in Togo.
