The government of the Democratic Republic of Congo launched on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, the states general of the fight against corruption. The Republic intends to make a complete diagnosis of the state of play in the fight against corruption.

The initiation of the States-General for the fight against corruption in the DRC consecrates the creation of a consensus on the priority actions to be carried out and the reforms to be undertaken in the fight against corruption in the DRC. These meetings will enable technical and financial partners as well as diplomats to address issues relating to the prevention of corruption, the criminalization, detection and repression of corruption as well as international cooperation in of fighting corruption. The activities taking place from October 19 to 23 in Kinshasa will be organized under the high patronage of the Head of State, Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi.
