Côte d'Ivoire and Burkina have decided to act together to formalize their relationship in the fight against corruption. The High Authority for Good Governance (Habg) and the High Authority for State Control and the Fight against Corruption of Burkina Faso (Asce-Lc) signed a cooperation agreement last week.

The objective of this cooperation is to maintain the pressure, so that those who have embezzled public funds cannot feel safe crossing the border. This approach is part of the application of Articles 92 of Ordinance 2013-660 relating to the development of cooperation with international anti-corruption bodies, which stipulate that the High Authority for Good Governance grants to similar foreign organizations, the broadest cooperation through the signing of cooperation and information exchange agreements.
