With a contribution to the subscribed capital of 11.37 million euros, Cameroon is delighted to officially enter the capital of the Agency for Trade Insurance in Africa (ACA). This Central African country thus becomes the 19th member state of the ACA.

Thanks to the financial support of the European Investment Bank (EIB), Cameroon becomes a shareholder of the Trade Insurance Agency. This membership will enable it to benefit from ATI guarantees to support export development, attract more foreign investment and improve regional and international trade. "Joining the ACA comes at the right time since it is part of Cameroon's national development strategy 2020-2030 (SND30), which aims in particular to make Cameroon an emerging country through the development of its exports and to the opening of its local markets to foreign investment. The number of government priority projects submitted for consideration by the ACA would provide a good basis for the implementation of its national SND30 strategy plan,” said a statement issued in this context.
