The Minister for International Cooperation and the Promotion of Public-Private Partnership, Denis Christel Sassou N'Guesso made a guided tour of the industrial and commercial zone of Maloukou on October 1st. He had on his side, a group of investors from the Rwandan company Crystal Ventures which wishes to invest 200 million dollars.

According to the executive chairman of Crystal Ventures, Jack Kayonga, the group wishes to help with the development of this area. “Once the agreement has been signed, we will invest in a first phase around one hundred million dollars to secure the site, rehabilitate it and finalize various works including electricity, water, etc. “, he said at the end of the guided tour of the site. He specifies that the company will also make available financing of more than one hundred million dollars for the creation of a dry port, the construction of the city and a training center. Crystal Ventures is Rwanda's largest investment company, with a portfolio ranging from dairy products to private security companies. The industrial and commercial zone of Maloukou is built in the village Manziélé, district of Igné, on an area of 557,000 m2.
