The Congolese League for Peace, Human Rights and Elections, in acronym LICOPADEL, organized a workshop for 25 leaders of society organizations. This initiative is part of the concern to support the Congolese State in the fight against corruption, embezzlement and fraud in portfolio companies.

From September 23 to 24, 2021, these leaders were subjected to capacity building work on investigation and monitoring techniques on cases of corruption, embezzlement and fraud in State enterprises and on the role of the court of account. According to the organizers of this workshop, the objectives pursued are, among others, to enable participants to appropriate notions of good governance, human rights and the United Nations Convention against Corruption because, it is the only binding legal instrument to fight against corruption, ratified by 186 States, so that in the future Congolese companies, public and private institutions of the DRC can restore good governance.
