On the occasion of the Road Show of the African Import and Export Bank (Afreximbank) in Abidjan (Côte d'Ivoire) as a prelude to the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2021), the Minister of Trade and Industry of Côte d'Ivoire, Souleymane Diarrassouba urged the private sector to take its place for a large participation in this meeting.

The Intra-African Trade Fair will be held next November in Durban, South Africa. This meeting falls within the framework of the African Continental Free Trade Area (Zlecaf) which constitutes a market of 1.3 billion people. The former president of Afreximbank, now honorary president of the fair, Jean Louis Ekra, indicated that Zlecaf, which presents itself as the largest meeting place for African investment and trade, offers the possibility for African economies to emancipate themselves, to become autonomous and to build the Africa of tomorrow. For his part, George Elombi, the executive vice president, governance, legal and corporate services of the bank, Zlecaf must change the size of African economies with a post-Covid recovery.
