Paris Europlace has developed training for employees of central banks, ministries of economy or finance, stock exchanges and market authorities in French-speaking Africa. It will take place in association with Paris Dauphine University and the branch of the World Bank which finances the private sector (SFI).

The organization that promotes the Paris Europlace financial center is setting up a training program for West African regulators and finance officials. It organizes a return to school in the capital, from September. This training aims to attract international investors to finance their economies and in particular the major infrastructure projects in the region. Several French groups active in Africa are partners of the program and could receive some of these civil servants as trainees: the asset manager Amundi, the bank Société Générale, the telecom operator Orange and the Paris office of the firm of Asafo lawyers. About fifteen officials from Benin, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, Cameroon, Djibouti, DRC, Madagascar - and outside Africa, Haiti - including representatives of the Central Bank of the States of West Africa (BCEAO) and the Bank of Central African States (BEAC) will take part in this first training. These future participants were recruited by local IFC offices. Paris Europlace and the SFI also hope to create a network of alumni.
