The activities of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education and University (ANAQ-ESU) were officially launched on Monday at the Hotel Reine de paix/CENCO in the commune of Gombe.

The Minister of Higher Education and University (ESU), Muhindo Nzangi launched the activities as part of the opening of the capacity building workshop for members ofANAQ-ESU, organized from 16 to 19 August 2021 with the support of the World Bank through the Education Project for Quality and Relevance of Secondary and University Education (PEQPESU). "The ANAQ-ESU is a solution, it must operate like other agencies in Africa and the world in compliance with international standards," said Minister Muhindo Nzangi. The mission of the agency will be to bring back the quality of training in this sector and to initiate the various reforms of the higher education system including the Bachelor-Master-Doctorate system (LMD).
