Under the leadership of the Minister of State, Abdoulaye Bio Tchané, the Benin Women's Investment Club held its first constituent meeting on Saturday August 8, 2021 at the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Benin. Called Women Investment Fund Benin, this melting pot was initiated to solve the eternal problem of women's access to financing.

The Women Investment Fund Benin (WIF Benin), an association created by women and for women, is keen to pool their financial resources in order to support women's entrepreneurial initiatives and invest in the stock market. This portfolio is managed collectively in order to share its income and profits and to bear any risks.

The objectives of the club are among others: to develop the financial intelligence of the members; promote stock market education and acquire investment principles and best practices; grow the resources collected; offer training to members and women entrepreneurs in Benin in general and create an investment fund dedicated to women's entrepreneurship. The Association plans to create an investment fund dedicated to female entrepreneurship and a training, coaching and mentoring program for women through its training academy. By 2030, it intends to become the largest women's investment club in Benin with a large autonomous investment fund to support women's entrepreneurship in Benin.
