In order to offer discounts to their common customers, the banking institution UBA Côte d'Ivoire and the Ivorian start-up Majestic One, have signed a memorandum of understanding. An opportunity is thus given to customers to enjoy an unparalleled digital experience through a better quality of service and appropriate offers.

The partnership between UBA Côte d'Ivoire and Majestic One stipulates that holders of VISA prepaid cards from UBA benefit from a 20% reduction on the purchase of standard cinema tickets (3,000 and 5,000 FCFA) through payment via Electronic Payment Terminals (TPE) in all cinemas in the Majestic network: Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire and Sococé in Cocody, PRIMA in Marcory, and Cosmos in Yopougon. The two signatories aim to popularize the digitalization of consumer operations, and offer users of UBA prepaid cards advantages on the purchase of several products from various renowned brands present on the local market. These bank cards, valid for a period of 3 years, can be recharged by cash payment or transfer from a UBA account.

Cards are recharged either at UBA branches or in the networks of distributors and sub-distributors. Cards are produced instantly and the unit cost of a prepaid card is 10,000 CFA francs. For UBA Côte d'Ivoire, the partnership will enable Majestic One to increase customer consumption flow by benefiting from the largest prepaid card user base in the market. This offer comes at the right time, on the occasion of the resumption of the film distribution activity, and the period of school holidays during which cinemas benefit from the influx of young pupils and students. World film news is also dominated by the release of “blockbuster” films that are very popular with the public.
