The figures were revealed during the 22nd session of the General Assembly of State Public Establishments ( EPE) which was held this Thursday, July 15, 2021 in Ouagadougou.
Placed under the theme "The quality of services provided to users of public State establishments (EPE): challenges, measures and prospects", the 22nd session of the General Assembly of Public State Establishments was chaired by the Prime Minister, Christophe Dabiré. The aim was to analyze the difficulties that affect the performance of EPEs in order to identify good practices for improving their efficiency. The analysis of the financial situation of the 94 EPEs (apart from the National Funds) that have actually transmitted the financial statements indicates that the total amount of revenue (including subsidies) gives 263.690 billion FCFA for the year 2020 against 228.507 billion FCFA in 2019, an increase of 15.40% between 2019 and 2020. Also, the total amount of budgetary expenditure gives 228.281 billion FCFA in 2020 against 199.704 billion FCFA in 2019, i.e. increases of 14.31% between 2019 and 2020.
