Women entrepreneurs in Côte d'Ivoire have just received financial support. The social impact investor Oikocredit granted a loan of €2.3 million to Fin'Elle, the subsidiary of the Cofina group, created in 2018 to support the financial inclusion of women entrepreneurs, particularly in the agricultural sector

Last January, Fin'Elle signed a partnership agreement with UN Women to increase opportunities for women entrepreneurs and women farmers for better access to finance, to means of strengthening entrepreneurial and managerial capacities, and to networking in Côte d'Ivoire. On the occasion of the ceremony marking the 9 years of existence of the Fund to Support Women of Côte d'Ivoire (FAFCI) on July 13, Dominique Ouattara announced an increase of FCFA 5 billion this year, which will therefore reach FCFA 25 billion. Note that the microfinance institution, Fin'Elle, offers small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) owned by women in Côte d'Ivoire specific savings and credit products and also supports women through technical assistance
